The Hatfields & McCoys red carpet premiere was Monday evening and I
was lucky enough to help Layla Alizada and Noel Fisher get ready for
it! In case you haven't seen all of the advertising The History Channel
has done, the Hatfields & McCoys is a new miniseries that will be
premiering on May 28 about two infamous southern feuding families. I
actually groomed Noel for the season premiere of Shameless while he was
working on this and it was quite interesting to hear the story of the
families and the time he spent in Romania filming.

Born Yesterday
At the end of last year I worked on the cutest short film, Born Yesterday. The film is all about life, love, and what you learn when you are born and live your entire life in one day. I had the most amazing opportunity to work with Larisa Oleynik (Mad Men, 10 Things I Hate About You, etc.), Heather Morris (Glee), Jonathan Lipnicki (Jerry Maguire), and John Weselcouch (Like Crazy).

2012 NewNowNext Awards
I met Layla Alizada on a film that we worked on together a year or so ago and have been honored to help her and her beau, Noel Fisher, get ready for red carpet and award show appearances. This time Layla called me to help them get ready for the NewNowNext Awards that aired on Logo. The show was hosted by none other than Kelly Osbourne and featured almost every Drag Queen that I have ever heard of! The event looks absolutely fabulous!

Andrew Headshots
I have had the pleasure of working with Andrew on quite a few projects. He is definitely the quintessential LA jack of all trades. You name it, Andrew does it. He even has a show on YouTube about reviewing chocolate bars!! Which can be seen HERE.

Love In The Time Of Monsters
A while back I was asked to work on the test scene for the feature film, Love In The Time Of Monsters. They have finally released the footage and it is FANTASTIC!! Below the jump is a short scene from the movie that starts filming May 3rd in Northern California.
I got the call late the night before shooting and got to speak with Robert Pendergraft, known for his special effects in tons of horror movies, about the look that he wanted to create with the infected zombie that dresses up in a Big Foot costume. Left a lot of room for creativity for me and I enjoyed every minute of it!
