Karina Smirnoff Sportie LA Shoot

A few weeks ago, Boo from Sportie LA called and needed a last minute makeup artist to help assist a celebrity on a photo shoot to promote a new shoe line. I immediately said yes and the next day I found myself in Hollywood doing a guerrilla style shoot in a small park with Dancing With The Stars very own Karina Smirnoff.

Due to Karina's ridiculously busy schedule and the shortage of time, she already came with rollers in her hair (she says that saves her life!)



In no time at all I was able to let down her hair and touch up her makeup before she was letting her radiant personality shine through for the Sportie LA cameramen and videographers. During the middle of the shoot she even called in to be on Ryan Seacrest's radio show to talk about the new season of DWTS and her partner, Ralph Macchio! After the last pictures were taken and before she had to hurry back to the dance studio to practice, Karina taught some of the crew to do Michael Jackson's famous dance moves.
