Sam Photo Shoot

I did Sam's hair and makeup for her headshots back in January and when she scheduled a shoot with photographer, Erick Blink, she asked me to do help once again.  Erick and Sam found each other through Model Mayhem and decided they wanted to work together on a few very specific looks.

The Borrower's Debt - Walking Home from Hollywood Music Video

The Borrower's Debt is a Los Angeles indie/folk outfit comprised of three cute guys and my gorgeous (as well as insanely talented) friend, Callie Ray. They filmed their first music video a few months ago and even though I wasn't able to be there throughout the shoot, Callie came over to my little office and I was able set her look.

Callie's whole vibe is very low key and relaxed and we wanted her hair and makeup to reflect her (for lack of a cooler term, "boho chic") style. Her makeup needed to be neutral and long lasting as I wouldn't be there for touch ups and her hair needed to be structured but still have that "I just threw this together" look. I think the outcome was perfect and definitely fit in with the theme of the video. See for yourself below!

We Need Help

I am SO excited about the web series, We Need Help, that Yahoo! is releasing this Fall. Starring Cheryl Hines, Rachael Harris, and Max Loeb, this series will make you laugh until you cry. I know this because I was lucky enough to work on this amazing project. My friend, Jeffrey Paul of Exclusive Artists Management, brought me on board to help out a couple of days.

Red Romeo - Like No Other Music Video

Last year I worked on a music video for Adrian Hibbs that was produced by my friends over at FaceHead Media. Adrian is an accomplished musician who has recorded with many bands such as Dashboard Confessional and Panic! at the Disco. When I took the job I was super excited to learn that we would be filming in the infamous Linda Vista hospital. Linda Vista has been an abandoned hospital since the early 90s and has been featured in numerous movies, television shows, and music videos.
